Our Story
In Missouri, plenty of dentists accept Missouri Medicaid. But when a patient needs a specialist, like an oral surgeon or a pediatric dentist who can treat a child while asleep, the options get very thin.
We started Independence Surgery Center to close that gap. Our mission is to increase access to care. We’re a surgery center with two specialties under one roof, oral surgery and pediatric dentistry, and we care for Missouri Medicaid patients only.
Every part of how we work is built around that: our team checks your coverage, handles the approval with your plan, and guides you from your first message to your recovery.
What Is a Surgery Center?
A surgery center is a medical facility where you have surgery and go home the same day. It's also called an ambulatory surgery center. There's no overnight stay, and the center focuses on planned surgeries rather than emergencies.
We're a dental ambulatory surgery center in Missouri, which means we do one thing: dental surgery. Our team, rooms, and equipment are all set up for it, from the moment you check in to the moment you wake up.
Surgery centers are licensed by the state and follow strict safety standards. How We Keep You Safe →
